Model GMP/RMP Medium Profile

CANCOIL Model GMP/RMP is designed for use in refrigerated rooms maintained at temperatures from ‑20ºF to +35ºF. These units are ideally suited for larger walk-in freezers, and are frequently found in supermarkets and warehouses.  Generous coil surface is a design feature common to all GMP/RMP unit coolers. Air intake is through the coil face and discharge at the fans. The units may be secured to ceiling or suspended from rod hangers. Direct drive propeller fans driven by energy efficient ½ HP motors are statically and dynamically balanced for quiet operation.

Factory piping of defrost components minimizes field installation costs. Units available for use with reverse cycle or three pipe system:

  • Specify Model RMP for reverse cycle systems

  • Specify Model GMP for three-pipe systems

 

Units designed for applications below -20ºF are also available. Model GMP/RMP is suitable for use with environmentally friendly refrigerants.  Please contact our sales department for further information.

    stainless steel cabinets available

  • Corrosion-resistant hardware to prevent discoloration

  • Full collar, continuous plate type aluminum fin/copper tube coils provide efficient heat transfer surface

  • Fin spacing is 6 FPI; optional FPI available

  • 20 inch diameter fans provide up to 48 ft air throw

  • Hot gas loop in drain pan provides positive drainage without danger of drain pan freeze-up, while allowing removal of drain pan for ease of cleaning

  • Factory set defrost termination and adjustable fan delay thermostat

  • All units use interchangeable fan motors, blades and guards

  • Totally enclosed, thermally protected, energy efficient ½ HP fan motors

  • Space inside unit cabinet for expansion valve mounting

  • Units designed for use with externally equalized TXV or electronic expansion valve

  • Suction line pressure tap provided for convenience in setting expansion valve

  • Standard models are UL listed and CSA certified
